Meet the Black beekeepers who inspire us this #PollinatorWeek! 🐝 ➡️ 1️⃣ Kamal Bell of @sankofafarms: Kamal is a farmer, teacher, and Chief Executive Officer of Sankofa Farms. 2️⃣ Samantha Foxx of @mothersfinesturbanfarm: Samantha was inspired to get back in touch with nature after realizing the importance of self-sufficiency for her and her family. She has been working tirelessly in the midst of the pandemic to ensure her community has access to quality produce and honey. 3️⃣ Nicole Rivera Hartery @riveraxn: Nicole became a beekeeper after a longtime fascination with bees. As an educator, Nicole believes representation matters, and exposes young Black and Brown children to the world of beekeeping.
"Even the busy bees stop to smell the roses."
